Shimlavaasi is committed to providing a seamless travel experience. However, certain circumstances require policies to ensure clarity and mutual understanding between us and our clients.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Shimlavaasi
In the unlikely event that Shimlavaasi needs to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund of all monies paid. Additionally, we will assist in finding an alternative tour of similar value where possible.
Cancellation by You
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, please refer to the following guidelines:
- Before Confirmation: You can cancel your booking free of charge before we confirm your tour and its services.
- After Confirmation: All cancellations must be communicated in writing to info@shimlavaasi.fun. The following charges will apply:
- 30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a ₹1,000 processing fee.
- 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.
- 14 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).
- No-Shows: No refund will be provided for no-shows.
Changes to Your Booking
If you need to modify your booking after confirmation, we will try our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes and their availability.
Prepone/Postpone Requests
Requests to prepone or postpone your tour must be communicated in writing at least 15 days before the tour date. A processing fee of ₹3,000 or up to 10% of the tour cost exceeding ₹35,000 will apply.
Third-Party Services
For cancellations involving flights, trains, or hotels booked on your behalf, charges will follow the respective service provider’s policies. Shimlavaasi will recover any service charges incurred for such bookings.
Liability Disclaimer
Shimlavaasi shall not be held liable for any damages or charges incurred due to:
- Natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or alterations to the itinerary caused by such events.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
- Adverse outcomes from the use of narcotics, banned substances, weapons, fireworks, or toxic materials.
We reserve the right to evict any traveler without refund for misbehavior, violation of trip rules, or illegal activity.
Important Notes
- All travelers must carry a valid government-issued ID card.
- Slots will be confirmed only after the booking amount is received.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will follow the policy outlined above. Requests must be made in writing and sent to info@shimlavaasi.fun. Refunds will not be provided for unused services, missed meals, or cancellations due to inclement weather or illness.
Conduct During Tours
- Consumption of narcotics or banned substances is strictly prohibited.
- Travelers are expected to adhere to local laws and respect fellow travelers and staff.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
