Introduction
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for tours booked with Shimlavaasi. Please read this policy carefully before booking a tour with us.
Cancellation by Shimlavaasi
In the unlikely event that Shimlavaasi needs to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a full refund of all monies paid. We will also make every effort to find you an alternative tour of similar value.
Cancellation by You
We understand that plans can change sometimes. Here’s what happens if you need to cancel your tour with Shimlavaasi:
- Before Confirmation: You can cancel your booking free of charge before we confirm your tour with all services included.
- After Confirmation: All cancellations must be communicated in writing to info@shimlvaasi.fun. The following cancellation charges will apply:
- 30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus a processing fee of ₹1,000.
- 29 days to 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
- 14 days to 0 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).
- No-Shows: No refund will be provided for no-shows.
Changes to Your Booking
If you need to make changes to your booking after confirmation, we will try our best to accommodate your request. However, changes may be subject to additional charges depending on the nature of the change and availability.
Third-Party Services
Cancellation charges for services like flights, trains, or hotels booked on your behalf will be as per the cancellation policy of the respective service provider. Shimlavaasi will recover any service charges incurred for booking and canceling such services.
Prepone/Postpone Requests
Requests to postpone or prepone your tour package must be communicated in writing at least 15 days before the tour date. We will charge a minimum processing fee of ₹3,000, with a maximum of 10% of the tour cost exceeding ₹35,000.
Important Notes:
- This cancellation policy applies only to tours and optional tours directly booked with Shimlavaasi.
- Shimlavaasi is not responsible for any charges incurred due to cancellations of flights, trains, or other services booked independently by the client.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation.
